Flipper good Fun – 29th November 2011

Following advice from my swim coach I purchased some training fins for our sessions. Putting them on using them was an amazing feeling as for the first time since my accident almost 10 years ago I was able to propel myself through the water by means of kicking my legs. It wasn’t very fast and it was tiring but it was amazing and I’m smiling about it as I’m typing this. Using these fins will help me feel what my legs and body should be doing and the position they should be in when I swim without them so it’s all new experiences that I have to take onboard.
